چکیده
With the current existing, emerging, and resurging mosquito species mosquito-borne diseases, very low availability of control products, exploration novel active ingredients innovative formulations based on available are crucial to ensure sustainable interventions. The larviciding by applying biorational larvicides with microbial insect growth regulator origins is a routine practice in most areas. paper evaluated an innovated granular S-methoprene formulation, namely OmniPrene ™ laboratory bioassays, as well outdoor microcosms at 2.8, 5.6 11.2 kg/ha 30.5 cm water depth, 2.8 shallow (15.25 cm) against Aedes aegypti, Anopheles hermsi Culex quinquefasciatus. Over 90% efficacy was achieved for least 49 days, up 42 days when depth cm. levels were further elevated 15.25 cm, where over observed 63 Anopheles, but 56 Culex. high initial residual attributable unique diatomaceous earth carrier granules proprietary binding process. documented bioactivity safety S-methoprene, demonstrated performance G, plus feature formulation render vegetation penetration, even coverage, other advantages dry granules, it would be reasonable recommend this product one larvicidal tools wide variety habitats public health importance while complying local regulations.

Laboratory and field evaluation of SS220 and deet against mosquitoes in Queensland, Australia.
Laboratory and field efficacy trials comparing deet (N,N-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide) and SS220 [(IS, 2'S)-2-methylpiperindinyl-3-cyclohexen-1-carboxamide] against mosquitoes in Queensland, Australia, were conducted. In the laboratory, both compounds provided between 150 and 195 min of protection against Aedes aegypti and between 18 and 80 min of protection against Anopheles farauti. In laborator...

Laboratory tests of commercial repellent formulations were conducted against Anopheles farauti Laveran, Culex annulirostris Skuse, Ochlerotatus vigilax (Skuse) and Stegomyia aegypti (L.). The majority of repellent formulations tested contain N,N,-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide (also known as diethyl-m-toluamide, commonly called deet). Two formulations containing picaridin (1-piperidinecarboxylate ac...

Background: Anopheles stephensi is considered to be the main malaria vector in the Middle East area including Iran. We aimed to evaluate the efficiency of a granule 10% formulation of Bacillus thuringiensis against this species under laboratory and semi-field conditions in an endemic malarious area of Iran. Method: After collecting mosquitos ...
